At GatherBay, we often receive requests from our community members regarding various life cycle events, spiritual or pastoral care, and other resources that spiritual leaders can offer. 

We would love to be able to facilitate connections between folks we meet who have a spiritual, ritual, or other specific need and spiritual leaders who can meet that need. To that end, we’re creating a Spiritual Leaders of the Bay Area guide that will live on our website.

For context, our sibling org in DC has a similar guide. We aim to launch the guide in mid-February but will leave this form open beyond that date to anyone who would like to be featured. 

Who is this guide for?

Folks who are non-affiliated spiritual leaders who may have a title like Maggid, Kohenet, Rabbi, Rabbanit, and/or Chaplain. You also may not have such a title but you officiate life cycle events (such as weddings, commitment ceremonies, baby blessings/namings, and more), and you're available to be contracted or hired for those services.

Individuals can be living or working in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as surrounding counties—if you’re as far south as Santa Cruz or as far north as Mendocino County, we’d love to include your info! If you’re outside that range, please drop us a note at info@gatherbay.org about where you’re located.

How will it work?

Please take about 10 minutes to fill out the form. After you complete it, we will add you to our site. We’ll include your contact information, short answers, photo, and other information from the form. Interested community members can then reach out directly to you.

We’ll notify you when your entry is live/your entry will be live within 2 weeks of submitting the form.

We will not be verifying the accuracy of information or doing much editing, so please write clearly and concisely.
